Joining Hands with Red Note, Dulwich Hengqin Welcomes World-class Musician

On 15 February, many international musicians from the “Red Note - Global Village Music Party” opened a unique in-depth tour in Zhuhai to experience the charm of Zhuhai's culture. The world's top musicians visited Dulwich Hengqin to experience the uniqueness of Dulwich's international education.

Dulwich Hengqin focuses on the development of the whole person, especially the artistic qualities of its students. Over the past 15 years in Zhuhai and Hengqin, many outstanding music students have gone on to pursue their musical ambitions at top music institutions such as the Royal College of Music, Berklee College of Music, Oberlin College and Conservatory, and Eastman School of Music. This year, the Class of 2025 has already received offers from Berklee College of Music and the Los Angeles Conservatory of Music.

Ten musicians came to Dulwich Hengqin to have a warm interaction with five music-loving students and teachers.
The guests then took a tour of the campus, which is both British in style and Lingnan in artistic aesthetic. Especially when they visited the music classrooms, composition classrooms and the Edward Alleyn Theatre, they praised Dulwich Hengqin for providing students with very complete facilities to help them improve their music studies and develop their musical talents.
The students appreciated the opportunity to interact with the musicians:
This rare experience made them feel the charm of music that brought people closer to each other. They were also greatly inspired by the musicians' love and perseverance for music, and they will cherish their love of music so that it will continue to be a force that nourishes their spirits and connects them to the outside world.

They hope that there will be more such opportunities in the future, so that they can interact with and learn from more outstanding musicians, and together promote the exchange and inheritance of musical culture.

Dulwich Hengqin's IGCSE and A Level programmes not only provide the music course and supporting music teaching facilities, but also allow students who love music and are musically talented to pursue their interests and strengths in their academic careers. In addition, co-curricular activities, lunchtime concerts, the school's Founders' Day and Arts Showcase, and inter-school events such as the Dulwich Music Festival and the Dulwich Olympiad, run by the Dulwich College International family, provide unique opportunities for students to showcase their musical talents.
