University Arts Bournemouth Art workshop
Last month Dominic Shepherd, Senior Lecturer of Fine Art at Arts University Bournemouth delivered a workshop to Year 11 and 12 students. The students completed a series of abstract drawings using both charcoal and oil pastels and were asked to complete blind drawings in response to other senses such as touch and sound. Dominic’s warm and friendly manner helped them to get the most out of the session.
The session also included a presentation of portfolios and information about the Art and Design courses available at the University. The students who attended are all thinking of pursuing Art and Design at University, so looking at a variety of Art and Design portfolios will help them as they prepare their portfolios over the coming months.

The Art Department will also offer guidance and support to all Dulwich Art and Design students as they prepare their portfolios for applications to Art and Design universities.
