Teacher of Physics

Sally joined Dulwich Zhuhai in August 2022 as a Physics teacher. Her responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and delivering engaging lectures on various physics topics to help the students learn and understand the principles of physics. She also conducts laboratory experiments and demonstrations to illustrate the principles of physics and encourages student engagement and participation. Additionally, she assigns and grades homework, quizzes, and exams to evaluate students' understanding and progress, providing them with feedback and support to improve their academic performance. Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to develop and improve the school's curriculum and teaching methods is also part of her role.

Sally has extensive experience teaching Physics, having previously worked as a Physics Teacher in the Philippines from 2010-2018, and as an IGCSE and A-level Physics Teacher at Weihai IVY Foreign Language School from 2019-2020. She also taught IGCSE and A-level Physics at Jiangyin Nanjing Senior High School, where she provided the students with engaging and effective learning experiences.

Sally’s educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from West Visayas State University, a Master of Education in Physics from the same university, and a Master of Arts in Teaching Physics from the University of the Philippines. She is also a recipient of the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) Scholarship, which is awarded to Filipinos with meritorious academic standing and who aspire to pursue a career in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Sally has a passion for teaching Physics and believe that learning should be enjoyable for students. She enjoys traveling to different countries to expand her horizons and outlook in teaching and in life. It brings her joy to inspire and engage students, and she takes pride in being able to help them achieve their full potential.
