A foot and light-hearted I take to the open road,

Healthy, free, the world before me,

The long brown path before me leading wherever I choose.

- Song of the Open Road, Walt Whitman

In the middle of June, our Year 13 cohort officially bid farewell to their high school life and are ready to embark on their next chapter in life.

Congratulations to the DHZH Class of 2023!

Lectures and discussions in the classrooms, explorations and surprises in the laboratory, cheers and energy on the track, music and light on the stage, the four years at Dulwich Zhuhai are filled with academic success, as well as friendships...

The Graduation Ceremony was conducted with teachers, students and parents gathered together to celebrate the momentous day with pride.

Even as we prepare to leave, let us not forget the values that have been instilled in us during our time in Dulwich. Be kind, treating others with respect and dignity. Be open-minded, embracing diversity and celebrating the unique perspectives that each individual brings. Be lifelong learners, always seeking knowledge, and pursuing personal and intellectual growth.

Our education has equipped us with the ability to make a difference, and it is our responsibility to use that power wisely. Let us be the change we wish to see in the world, making positive contributions and leaving a lasting legacy.

——Viola W

Over the past few years, Dulwich has provided us with a safe, comfortable haven, a home away from home for some, and has created an environment for us to blossom into skilled and ambitious, young adults. I am grateful to have met you and learned from you. I am proud to see how much you’ve grown, and I am excited to see where you go next.

——Seth P

Like any other, your academic journey at Dulwich was filled with obstacles, some small and some large. But you showed tremendous resilience throughout and never let these impede your path to success. Now as you enter the next chapter of your life, I encourage you to see yourselves as unstoppable and to use the values of community, integrity, and excellence, that you have been encouraged to develop throughout your school career, in whatever path you choose.

——Mrs Hooper, Acting Director

We lived through a worldwide event, but I know that you have learned some, if not all, of the Dulwich values to Graduate and Live Worldwise. We are now at another forefront of an emerging change in the form of AI. The future seems promising yet uncertain, but I know you have all that it takes to be happy, healthy, people on this beautiful planet.

——Mr Koh, Head of Year 13, Chemistry teacher and Student Leadership Coordinator

Speaking from my heart, I would like to encourage you to continuously improve yourselves and enrich your lives. This will also be the best way to take care of yourselves at any time. Wherever your next destination would be, please remember that the world is always filled with dreams, however, it is the people who keep their feet on the ground that succeed in making their dreams come true. Each one of you has your unique talent to thrive in the future. Each one of you is a limited edition of your own life. We wish you all the best of luck, achieve academic success and shine in your own stage.
