Review of Term 1 PE and sports activities
After a long 18 months of pandemic restrictions on the cross-school activities, our students were finally becoming busy in external sports competitions and fixtures in Term 1 of 2021-22 academic year, all in good fun.
Around 80 students have represented Dulwich Zhuhai in volleyball, basketball, badminton and table tennis teams. They were particularly excited to be able to compete in the “Pearl River Delta Conference League” again. Both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams reached the semi-finals, while the badminton and table tennis teams remain unbeaten.

Leveraging the state-of-the-art facilities and sports venues at the new campus, Dulwich Zhuhai has hosted a series of fixtures where students can enjoy making friends with other students from different international schools across the Greater Bay Area.
House Sports Competition continue to thrive at Dulwich Zhuhai too. With the emphasis of participation and good sportsmanship, over 70% of the students took part in a wide range of House competitions. Shackleton House continued to dominate the competitions, winning both table tennis and volleyball while Alleyn House had the highest number of students taking part in all the sport competitions.
At Dulwich Zhuhai, we believe that while it is great to excel in academic study, it is also important that students are holistically developed in physical health and wellbeing, as well as enjoying the opportunities to expand their interests and advantage in sports. Riding on the new facilities and new co-curricular activities, we will be expecting more exciting sports engagement soon.
